1. What the game collects

• Account — your email and sign-in method. If you choose Google sign-in, Google confirms your identity and provides the basic account information needed to sign you in, such as your email address.
• Profile — a permanent player number and the operator name you choose (shown instead of your email).
• Gameplay — your saved tours: your soldier, choices, journal, after-action reports, and the tour log of what you did and when.
• Sessions — when you play and roughly how long, and a country derived at the edge from your connection. We do not store your IP address.
• Support & submissions — anything you send us through the in-game report tool or submit to the memorial.

2. How it’s used

• To run the game — save your tour and sync it across your devices.
• To keep the account secure and let you recover it.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the game is played and where it can be better.
• To read and reply to your reports, and to moderate what’s submitted to shared surfaces.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising trackers.

3. Where it’s stored

Your account and saves are stored securely in the cloud with leading third-party service providers, who process the data on our behalf. Your session country (§1) is derived at the network edge; we do not store your IP address.

Supabase provides account authentication and cloud data storage. If you choose Google sign-in, Google processes that authentication under its own Privacy Policy. We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, Drive, or other Google services.

4. Cookies and local storage

We keep a sign-in token and a local copy of your saves in your browser’s storage so the game works and stays signed in. That’s essential to the service — there are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

After you continue past the mature-content notice, your browser remembers that acknowledgement for the current notice version. This preference stays on that browser. It is not attached to your account or sent to Supabase, analytics, or another server. Clearing site data, changing browsers, or a new notice version will show the notice again.

5. Keeping and deleting your data

Your saves are kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, your identity (sign-in, email, operator name) is removed, and your gameplay and tour data are retained in de-identified form under an anonymous player number (see the Terms of Service, §6).

6. Your choices

• Change your operator name any time in the account panel.
• Delete your account any time from within the game.

7. Children

The game contains mature material and is not designed as a child-directed service. A parent, guardian, or player can report a concern to PATHGames.ca.

8. Changes and contact

We may revise this policy. Material changes may require renewed acknowledgement before gameplay. Reach us through PATHGames.ca. Governing jurisdiction: Ottawa, Canada.
